How bad do you want to don the Big Daddy suit from 2K Games BIOSHOCK 2?  Depending on your directorial eye, you just might get that opportunity. With the insanely cool BIOSHOCK 2 “Vid-Cap” contest, 2K Games is challenging fans to come up with the craziest and most outrageous video sequence they can capture from regular gameplay.

Media Blasters just sent over a fresh poster for DEATH KAPPA, the latest Japan-lensed project from its Fever Dreams production arm, which is heading for the Cannes Film Festival this month. Feast your eyes on it after the jump!

Horrormeister Wes Craven has been busy overseeing the development of new, updated versions of some of his better-known films for a few years now. When it came to the just-released A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake, however, the man responsible of dreaming up Freddy Krueger found that letting go was the only reasonable thing to do.

HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN won the 2007 South by Southwest Film Fest’s best fake exploitation trailer contest, and director Jason Eisener (TREVENGE co-helmer) is now piloting the feature-length version starring THE HITCHER’s Rutger Hauer as the titular vengeful vagrant. Here’s a look at the first production still.

Whether you're hitting the theater or checking it out On Demand (thanks to IFC Films), there's no doubt THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE is an experience. And Fango is happy to help you delve even deeper into that sickening, depraved experience with a series of video interviews (the first of which you can see here) with writer/director Tom Six and star, the mad doctor himself, Dieter Laser. Read on for the chat with Laser!

The gridiron gets gory in PLAY DEAD, a new novel by Ryan Brown that’s also being brought to the screen by Backseat Conceptions. Fango got some exclusive behind-the-scenes video (see it below) along with details on the project—including one facet that’s already been controversial.

Joseph Sarno, one of the most noted directors of ’60s sexploitation fare who also dabbled in the horror genre, has died at the age of 89.

In part one (see here) of my Talk to Me, Baby! blog—inspired by our new clutch of FANGORIA TV interviews on this site (four on THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE alone this week! More to come on the Tribeca Film Festival, George A. Romero, SPLICE and BEST WORST MOVIE), I recalled the early interviews that set me off on a career in journalism, a trajectory that led straight to FANGORIA for the last 25 years. Anyway, to pick up the story…

FANGORIA will host a free screening of Warner Bros./Dark Castle’s new horror thriller SPLICE, from acclaimed CUBE director Vincenzo Natali, at the Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place) on Saturday, May 8 at 11:30 p.m. Natali, who also helmed CYPHER and NOTHING, will attend the screening and conduct a Q&A. You can see the exciting trailer for SPLICE— which stars PREDATORS’ Adrien Brody and DAWN OF THE DEAD’s Sarah Polley and was produced by HELLBOY’s Guillermo del Toro— and find out how to get in below!

Fango’s blog section provides beloved fright fans with personal and varied looks on today’s genre output and community (see full lineup here). Our latest addition to the roster will be no different as we hear from someone who’s not directly involved with horror, but is an incredibly huge buff nonetheless, The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Jeff Tuttle. Director Brad Rego has just released the trailer for his low budget slasher, THE KILLING OF JACOB MARR. Read on to check it out!
