Craig Gillespie’s 3D update of Tom Holland’s film now has an MPAA rating. What is it? Well, it isn’t PG, and it isn’t NC-17...

Film Ratings.com reports that the MPAA gave the FRIGHT NIGHT redux an R (yes, an R!) “for bloody horror violence, and language including some sexual references.” So, at least that’s promising. FRIGHT NIGHT stars  Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots and opens August 19.
