Looks like fans of Bella, Edward, Jacob et al. are going to have a bit of a wait between installments of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN, the two-part final feature in the Stephenie Meyer-spawned series. Will they be able to survive it??

Word came down from Summit Entertainment today that BREAKING DAWN—PART 2 will hit screens November 16, 2012, a full year after the Nov. 18, 2011 debut of PART 1. Directed by Bill Condon from a script by Melissa Rosenberg, the two-part film brings the saga of human/vampire/werewolf love and conflict, once again starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, to a close. Whether it will have anything more to offer serious genre fans remains to be seen, though this summer’s David Slade-directed THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE did make a couple of tentative steps in the right direction…
