Fans of Ozzy Osbourne, horror and the paranormal who are looking for an otherworldly experience can now reach out to “the other side” via the new collector’s-edition custom Ouija: The Ozzy Osbourne Edition. This limited-edition release breathes new life into the 100-plus-year-old spirit board.

This editions features the Prince of Darkness on the box with his signature logo, originally used the 1980s and recently bought back for Ozzy’s promotions and merchandising. The board sports a morbid color scheme of black, grey, red and yellow with graphics of the moon and the sun on either side, both looking very sinister. The Ouija use itself has not changed: Players lay fingers on a pointer than moves about the board, spelling out messages from ghosts and spirits from other worlds. (Just remember that when Regan in THE EXORCIST used a Ouija in her basement, things did not turn out well.)

As of this writing, however, the only legitimate way you can get this special-edition board is by purchasing a “meet and greet” VIP ticket for Ozzy’s 2010-2011 tour. One game will be given for each such ticket purchased for from Live Nation Merchandise, under license from Hasbro Inc. But while this Ouija is available only for concertgoers who shell out for the VIP package, this is worth the investment for serious Ozzy fans—and besides, you get to meet the Ozz man himself as well.

So go to the show, get the game, turn off the lights and put on BARK AT THE MOON or Black Sabbath’s first album and you, your friends and family just might channel some restless spirits…
