The Lowesville residents had their minds wiped clean, as if they are suffering from memory loss. Are they just faking an illness in order to get away with murder? A lone reporter is caught in a web of lies and finds himself trapped in Lowesville.

Watch as mindless robots/pre-programmed defenders battle against rabid zombies/rotting intruders. As the fight continues, only desperate times remain for the rest of humanity. This is a simple concept turned twistedly entertaining!

With even more surprising and exciting plot twists, comic book fans are definitely going to enjoy TRUE BLOOD: TAINTED LOVE #5 (IDW Publishing). The manufactured vampire drink, Tru Blood, was originally supposed to suppress the bloodsuckers’ addiction. But now, vamps are on a rampage, because just one sip of Tru Blood spikes up their adrenaline levels. Someone has poisoned the drink and all the vampires are paying the price. As the problems keep getting worse, Bill Compton realizes he might not be able to fix them!

Tremendously entertaining, THE GOON #34 (Dark Horse Comics) is a highly enjoyable blend of pulp horror and slapstick comedy. The Goon, a muscle man with a scarred face, unexpectedly encounters a clan of Sparkly Vampires. While he takes on the entire gang, a demonic child has arrived at an orphanage. Does Goon have time to teach these Sparkly Vamps a lesson in toughness and save the innocent children? Definitely well worth your attention, you just can’t say “no” to buying this edition.

Unbelievably original and downright weird, CHEW #19 (Image Comics) is a terrific perfect blend of horror, sci-fi and crime. A distress signal from outer space is causing major problems on Earth. While the entire world is obsessed with the fiery message in the sky, a flesh-eating detective digs deeper to the truth. The journey leads the cannibal sleuth directly to a vicious killer lurking at Area 51, where the UFOs landed! Readers should note the story leaps back in time from issue #27 and takes place after issue #18.
