Gingold chatted up the actresses at New York City’s Japan Society for the video, shot and edited by Bill Hall. Directed by a trio of Japan’s most heedless filmmakers—ROBOGEISHA’s Noboru Iguchi, HELLDRIVER’s Yoshihiro Nishimura and YAKUZA WEAPON’s Tak Sakaguchi—and produced by Sushi Typhoon, MUTANT GIRLS SQUAD is about a teenage girl who discovers she has special and bizarre powers that lead her into conflict with similarly body-armed enemies. Well Go USA released the movie yesterday on DVD and Blu-ray; the discs include featurettes, filmmaker interviews and a prequel short film. See our review of MUTANT GIRLS SQUAD here.
