Life of Agony bassist Alan Robert stopped by the Fango office for to give us the lowdown on his new comic series WIRE HANGERS, of which the second issue is out today. Check out the fourth clip of the interview below! 

Director Stephen T. Kay, who has mostly done TV since 2005’s BOOGEYMAN, has gotten back into feature horror in a big way lately. He’s set to direct the Poe-based THE USHERS this fall (see item here) and shot the Eva Amurri-starring chiller ISOLATION earlier this year, and an already-completed film he helmed in Canada is now headed for theatrical release.

Kurt Russell took on an alien xenomorph in THE THING and bad-ass chicks in GRINDHOUSE/DEATH PROOF, but how will he fare against the world of the occult? We’ll find out, now that he’s been cast as the lead of UNDYING.

With the 3-D craze in full swing, everybody’s rushing to jump on the bandwagon, including those in the independent horror scene. And the new Hammer Films is the latest to take the dimensional plunge.

One of the more attention-getting genre titles at the recently concluded Tribeca Film Festival was the psychological chiller OPEN HOUSE, from first-time writer/director Andrew Paquin. Fango got the word on when you’ll be able to see it in your house, and the additional content that’ll come with it.

Currently shooting in Winnipeg, THE DIVIDE is a postapocalyptic thriller set in an apartment building fallout shelter. Directed by HITMAN and FRONTIERE(S)' Xavier Gens, the formerly titled FALLOUT’s cast has been announced.

Last week, Fango spent a day on the set of Ti West’s THE INNKEEPERS—which, strictly speaking, wasn’t actually a set at all. The Dark Sky Films/Glass Eye Pix production is being lensed on a real location—and an apparently really haunted one too: The Yankee Pedlar Inn in Connecticut.

FANGORIA is pleased to have the horrifying honor of announcing the nominees for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards' new category, the colorfully titled “Best Scared as Shit Performance.” Read on to check 'em out!

HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN is TREEVENGE co-director Jason Eisener’s feature-length adaptation of his cult short. It stars THE HITCHER’s Rutger Hauer as the hobo with a shotgun, and two new clips from the movie are now up on the web.

This is a match made in creature-feature heaven: Tibor Takács, director of ICE SPIDERS, and Nu Image, the company behind SPIDERS and SPIDERS 2, are teaming up for SPIDER in 3-D!

Director Manuel Carballo brings the devil into the light in EXORCISMUS, an English-language chiller from Spain’s Filmax company. Check out the new teaser poster below.

Finally, DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW, the 1981 telemovie directed by AUDREY ROSE/THE ENTITY author Frank De Felitta, is being released on DVD. It’s been long overdue, but now DARK NIGHT has a release date, disc specs and cover art.
