With FANGORIA #316 on the way early next month with its
special FangoVision 3D section (see details here),
we’ve got a dimensionally enhanced trailer to show you for ONYX ORIGINS, a
prequel to the ALIEN VENGEANCE flicks by filmmaker—and FangoVision 3D
co-designer—Jason Liquori, featuring Debbie Rochon (pictured) as Colonel
Valerie Onyx.
In this short movie, due in November, we find out how Onyx became involved with controlling alien incursions of Earth, how she lost her eye and why she is so driven to keep the extraterrestrial threat under control. The movie was shot using a mix of 2D and 3D methods, and parts of it are a test for the upcoming ALIEN VENGEANCE 3D: THE INVASION. The teaser below includes a few extra 3D seconds at the end, viewable with FangoVision 3D red-and-blue glasses (included in issue #316) or any pair of similar specs you may have lying about.
The finished movie should be ready for a sneak preview on the FangoVision portion of this site around Halloween. Meanwhile, enjoy the trailer and clips and keep checking in at FANGORIA 3D for new ONYX ORIGINS images, coming soon!
