Guns, gore and all kinds of gratuitousness take over
Manhattan when the New York Asian Film Festival celebrates its 10th year July

Japan Society, we’ve got tickets to give away to three of the featured films!
We’re offering two pairs of tickets to each of the following:
• BEDEVILLED, Jang Chul-soo’s brutal all-female revenge thriller, Wednesday, July 6 at 8:45 p.m. and Sunday, July 10 at 7 p.m.
• HORNY HOUSE OF HORROR, the directorial debut of MUTANT GIRLS SQUAD scripter Jun Tsugita about babes and blood in a brothel (see the absolutely not-safe-for-work trailer below), Friday, July 1 at 12 midnight and Tuesday, July 12 at 10:15 p.m.
• BATTLE ROYALE (pictured above), a special screening of Kinji Fukasaku’s notorious cult classic in which schoolkids are forced into life-and-death combat, Friday, July 8 at 9:15 p.m.
BEDEVILLED and HOUSE will be shown at Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater (165 West 65th Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway), while ROYALE will screen at Japan Society (333 East 47th Street).
