Out-of-control genre director Yoshihiro Nishimura blazes into New York City this Thursday, April 28 with the local premiere of his new movie HELLDRIVER, which he and his star, AUDITION’s Eihi Shiina (pictured), will attend. And we’re offering a chance to see it for free!

We’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away to the event, which takes place at the Japan Society (333 East 47th Street) Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. The screening, co-presented by Subway Cinema, is an early kick-off for this year’s New York Asian Film Festival and Japan Cuts series, with exclusive title announcements and a free after-party with free beer and black-metal music by Vaura; half the proceeds will go to the Japan Society’s Earthquake Relief Fund. The bash will incorporate a private auction of Nishimura memorabilia (also for the charity), with bids taken during the party; bring cash if you’re interested! And bring your own Shiina swag too, as the actress will sign autographs in the lobby after the show.
