Dead Rabbit Films—which teams up FRIGHT NIGHT and CHILD’S PLAY director Tom Holland (pictured) with music-biz impresario David Chackler (who served as music supervisor on those two movies)—develops and produces feature films as well as scripted episodic television for emerging networks and mobile platforms. Their latest project is TWISTED TALES, a new series of shorts written and directed by Holland.

The official Dead Rabbit Films website describes TWISTED TALES as being in the tradition of anthology shows like THE TWILIGHT ZONE, THE OUTER LIMITS, TALES FROM THE CRYPT and AMAZING STORIES. The shorts are being designed for mobile devices. Here are descriptions of the first three TALES:

Starring A.J. Bowen of THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and THE SIGNAL and Bonnie Piesse, FRED & HIS GPS is one man’s startling descent into madness as his marriage and his world simultaneously fall down around him.

How far would you go to get revenge? In TO HELL WITH YOU, Danielle Harris explores her darker side as she meets the mysterious Mr. Smith (Harris’ HALLOWEEN co-star William Forsythe), who gives her the opportunity to get back at her cheating ex with a deadly proposition.

VAMPIRE’S DANCE stars newcomer Lisa McClowry as an unsuspecting patron at a vampire bar who, while looking for her missing friend, meets the mysterious Shaun, who takes a deadly interest in Lisa as both the club and their romance heat up.
