The director of X-CROSS, YO-YO GIRL COP and BATTLE ROYALE II has another weird and wacky film on the way.
According to 24 Frames Per Second, Fukasaku’s BLACK RAT concerns high school students who are stalked by a rat-masked killer. You can watch the trailer at the official site. Here’s the full synopsis for the film:
Six classmates received an e-mail from Asuka, who committed suicide when they were supposed to get together in a classroom that night. At 1 a.m., a person wearing a bloody rat-mask appears, ferociously attacking them, saying, “I’m going to avenge Asuka!” Will this be the end of them all? And who is the rat-masked person?
