Lionsgate has the vérité possession chiller THE LAST EXORCISM set to open at the other side of summer on August 27, and they’re getting the promotional ball rolling now. A Facebook page has opened and a new still released, and you can see the latter after the jump.
The photo depicts Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian), a minister who specializes in bogus exorcisms, with Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell), who confronts him with a genuine case of deviltry. Daniel Stamm directed the film from a script by Huck Botko and Andrew Gurland; Eli Roth (who discusses LAST EXORCISM here) produced with Strike Entertainment.
