With the psychological chiller STOKER set to premiere at the
Sundance Film Festival on January 20, we’ve got an early exclusive pic to share
with you.
The English-language debut of Korean director Park Chan-wook (of OLDBOY, THIRST and the “Vengeance Trilogy”), STOKER stars Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman as India Stoker and her mother Evelyn, who have lost their father/husband in a car crash. When India’s Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode, pictured below with Kidman) comes to stay, the girl becomes suspicious of the charming but mysterious newcomer. Fox Searchlight releases STOKER theatrically March 1; keep an eye on this site for more coverage, and look for an exclusive feature interview with Park in Fango #321, on sale next month.
