Tim Burton’s charming stop-motion remake of his short-film
classic FRANKENWEENIE is the director’s best-reviewed movie since SWEENEY TODD.
Jump past the jump to hear exclusive words from one of its voice cast.
Geared toward children, FRANKENWEENIE is a marvel of macabre
design, trading heavily on the Burton tropes of sentimentality, child’s-eye
terror, Gothic horror clichés and imagery and grim whimsy. It also trots out a
fantastic voice cast, including Martin Short, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara,
who aid immeasurably in bringing this fable about death to life.

keep a secret sabotages the safety of young Victor (voiced by Charlie Tahan)
and his no-longer-dead dog Sparky. Here’s an exclusive audio clip of that
interview with the charming Shaffer about life in Burtonville…
