For a while now, the team at Nictophobia Films has been
working on mounting a stage version of the seminal zombie film NIGHT OF THE
LIVING DEAD, and now tickets are available for purchase for the show’s spring
2013 engagement in Toronto, Canada.
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE (which the creators first discussed in depth here, and which Fango is helping sponsor) will run at Toronto’s Theatre Pass Muraille (16 Ryerson Avenue) April 23-May 19; George A. Romero himself, who serves as an executive producer with original NIGHT teammates Russ Streiner and John A. Russo as well as Marty Birthelmer, will appear for special Q&As at the 7 p.m. performances on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4. Tickets, which can be ordered here, are $20 for previews and range from $29.50-$79.50 for regular performances. Designed entirely in black and white, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE was directed by EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL’s Christopher Bond, created/produced by Chrisopher Harrison and Phil Pattison and written by Bond, Trevor Martin and Dale Boyer.
