There’s a new self-styled superhero/vigilante in town, and he’s the title character of CRIMSON, a brutal thriller coming to DVD next year. Read on for more info and the cover art.

Bloody Earth Films will release CRIMSON unrated on March 12. Directed by Ken Consentino and shot over a three-year period in Niagara Falls, New York, the movie is about a struggling comic-book artist who becomes obsessed with his latest character, a superhero called Crimson. When he is beaten almost to death and wakes up with near-total memory loss, he believes he is his own creation and sets out to destroy the local mob that is threatening his family. Michael Leszczynski, James Ventry and Lizzy Bruno star; the disc will include behind-the-scenes material and a trailer vault, with a retail price of $19.98.
