The video-game-based sequel is soon to slash its way into
your home—almost literally, in the case of its 3D edition.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release SILENT HILL: REVELATION on DVD, a Blu-ray/DVD combo and a 3D Blu-ray/2D Blu-ray/DVD pack February 12. Each one will present the movie, written and directed by Michael J. Bassett and starring Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell, in anamorphic 2:40 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the DVD and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio on the Blu-rays. The hi-def disc packs also include digital copies and UltraViolet editions; the only announced special feature is the “A Look Inside SILENT HILL: REVELATION” featurette. Retail prices are $29.98 for the DVD, $34.98 for the Blu-ray/DVD combo and $49.98 for the 3D Blu-ray triple-disc set. See our interviews with Bassett here and the lead actors here.
