Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY remake is completed, and although the director had hoped to have a trailer ready, fans have to be content with a few new stills he released. You can give ’em a look below.

Bousman posted the pictures at his blog on, appropriately, Mother’s Day yesterday, and here’s what the director of REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA and SAWs II-IV had to say:

“I had hoped that today we would be able to release the first ever trailer of MOTHER’S DAY, but alas, sometimes the world doesn’t move as fast as we want it… My hope is we will have announcements within the next couple of weeks!!! For now, I hope you enjoy a couple of new stills!!!

“While I am depressed that I can’t give you the trailer JUST YET, I am happy to tell you the movie is done, and looks awesome! I am so proud of what we were able to pull off… I have the best cast in the entire world! The movie is intense, horrific and extremely dramatic!”
