We hadn’t heard much about the upcoming horror film CLOWN
recently, but today Fango got slipped a bit of news about casting for one of
the young lead roles.
We got the scoop that 7-year-old Christian DiStefano (pictured) will star in CLOWN, on which Eli Roth is a producer, as Jake, the son of a man who tries on a clown suit for Jake’s birthday, then becomes possessed by the outfit and turns into a murderous psychopath. Jon Watts makes his feature directorial debut on the movie, which he wrote with ROBOT & FRANK scripter Christopher D. Ford; Dimension Films will release CLOWN, also co-starring Elizabeth Whitmere, in 2013.
