Hot off of SINISTER, Scott Derrickson has lined up his next paranormal picture.
Variety reports Derrickson is teaming with mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, CON AIR) and Eric Bana (HANNA) for an adaptation of Ralph Sarchie and Lisa Collier Cool's book about a New York City supernatural detective. The policeman takes on all manner of odd occurrence, including possession and the like.
It was recently announced Derrickson would tackle Stephen King's BREATHING METHOD for Blumhouse. No word on which goes first, but after SINISTER shook up audiences, it's likely we'll be hearing plenty more from the EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE director either way.
