The Northeast's colder season is just hitting and appropriately, Ciarán Foy's chilly, grim exploration of his own agoraphobia hits theaters soon. Get a sense of its frosty landscape and the looming, titular structure in this exclusive clip!

In CITADEL, young widower Tommy Cowley (Aneurin Barnard) tries to make his way, caring for an infant daughter in a dilapidated, depressed suburban Irish town. Suffering from serve agoraphobia following the murder of his wife, he's trapped in the shadow of a tower block that houses the same mysterious hooded gang responsible for his agony, and targeting his child. Soon, Tommy is aided by a gruff, fiery crusading priest (James Cosmo), one who below, forces the frightened young man to understand his fear fuels them.

CITADEL won the Midnighter Award out of this past Spring's SXSW. It's an often effective, tense picture that's both excitingly personal, and sometimes hurtfully so. For more on the film, read Fango's review, and pick up FANGORIA #318 (on sale now) for an exclusive talk with Foy.
