A new dose of ho-ho-horror is unleashed when SILENT NIGHT, a
loose remake of the notorious SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT, arrives in select
theaters and on disc in time for the holidays; read on for the full info and cover art.
Directed by Steven C. Miller of THE AGGRESSION SCALE and the
upcoming UNDER THE BED, SILENT NIGHT stars Malcolm McDowell and MOTHER’S DAY’s
Jaime King as a sheriff and deputy trying to track a serial killer in a Santa
suit in a small town full of Kris Kringles attending the annual Christmas
parade. The cast also includes SHARK NIGHT 3D’s Donal Logue, SLEEPY HOLLOW’s
Lisa Marie, Brendan Fehr and Ellen Wong. Anchor Bay Entertainment releases the movie in
theaters in 10 U.S. cities November 30, followed by the DVD and Blu-ray/DVD
combo debut December 4. The discs will present the movie in 16x9-enhanced
2.40:1 widescreen, with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the DVD and Dolby TrueHD 5.1
audio on the Blu-ray, plus a behind-the-scenes featurette and deleted scenes.
