The blood has dried, the fog has lifted and we can now clearly see the staggering amount of short fiction submissions in our WEIRD WORDS contest…and there are some real grim gems in the pack.

Over the next few weeks, our tired-eyed staff will be sifting through the tales and we’ll pick our favorites. Soon after that, we’ll start publishing those picks and later, put it to our online readers to vote on their favorite story. Three winners will be selected and their story will be published in an upcoming issue of FANGORIA.

Thanks to all the talented, ambitious writers who submitted their WEIRD WORDS and keep an eye on Fango to start reading the fetid fruits of their fevered labors.
