The found footage anthology hits limited release this weekend, with an extra treat from another highly anticipated anthology in tow. 

Last night, Magnet Releasing held a V/H/S screening and release party at Brooklyn's Nitehawk Cinema. Fango was on hand to help moderate a messy, but fun Skype Q&A with Adam Wingard & Simon Barrett (A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE, YOU'RE NEXT) and learned that pre-show, all those who get out and see V/H/S in theaters this weekend will be privy to one of THE ABCs OF DEATH's best segments.

The upcoming anthology that sees producers Magnet, Drafthouse Films and Ant Timpson present the visions of 26 directors (including Nacho Vigalondo, Ben Wheatley, Ti West, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Helene Cattett and Bruno Forzani and many more) as they violently navigate their way through the alphabet hits in 2013, but lucky audiences will get a look at DEADGIRL director Marcel Sarmiento's D FOR DOGFIGHT early. Stylish, grisly and even a bit twisty throughout its brief four minutes, D is certainly an added bonus for those looking to celebrate the first weekend of October with a rousing bit of horror.
