The Universal Monsters series from Mondo has managed to yield some of the collectible art boutique's most stunning posters yet. CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON is no different.

Announcing their Universal Monsters gallery show this fall, Mondo has revealed Laurent Durieux's splendid tribute to the Gillman, a map-based one-sheet for Jack Arnold's monster classic.

CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON will go on sale Friday, September 21 midst Fantastic Fest at the Mondo Pop-up shop at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. The piece is an edition of 475 and priced at $50.

The aforementioned gallery gets underway October 19 at Mondo Gallery (4115 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX) and features works from Mondo regulars Martin Ansin and Ken Taylor, what looks like Converge singer and artist Jacob Bannon, makeup FX legend Rick Baker and original, never-before-seen pieces from Drew Struzan(!), plus many more.
