The Guillermo del Toro-produced film looks to continue the long line of frightening matriarchs.
In Andres Muschietti's feature debut (based on his short film of the same name), "two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed are rescued years later and begin a new life. They soon find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night, however."
MAMA stars a fairly transformed Jessica Chastain (dig that punk'd up mom look) and GAME OF THRONES' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (who's quite great in this year's Norwegian crime thriller HEADHUNTERS). You can see the trailer, as well as its eerie, brief source material below.
