Fango editor Chris Alexander’s microbudget experimental vampire drama BLOOD FOR IRINA has been selected to play at two more International film festivals.

First up—immediately following the film’s premiere at the Third Annual PollyGrind International Film Festival in Las Vegas on October 18th, 2012—is a slot at the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival in Buffalo, NY.  The festival runs from October 17th to 21st. The exact screening day and time for BLOOD FOR IRINA is TBD but you can check out the fests lineup at Buffalo Screams.

On November 1st, BLOOD FOR IRINA will have its European premiere in Bruges, Belgium at the 2012 Razor Reel Fantastic Film Festival. For more on that festival taking place in the fairytale like city of chocolate and waffles, head here.

BLOOD FOR IRINA film charts the final days in the life of a dying, disturbed young woman (Shauna Henry) who may or may not be a vampire. As she rots away, haunted by memory in a crumbling motel by the sea, her plight is echoed by the voyeuristic motel manager (David Goodfellow) and a broken prostitute (Carrie Gemmell) whose own existence may be even more upsetting than Irina's.

BLOOD FOR IRINA was written (though the film is almost dialogue free), directed, co-shot, scored and edited by Alexander in five days on authentic locations in and around Toronto, Canada.
