Fantastic Fest is nearly upon us, and its selection of shorts has been revealed!
While short films aren't exactly given widespread exposure in mainstream cinema-going, they can often be the treasures of festivals. Fantastic Fest 2011 yielded some great mini works (Marc Henri Boulier's amazing NSFW, ALL MEN ARE CALLED ROBERT and Raul Cerezo's 8) and this year's slate is no less promising. LE LAC NOIR (2011)

Madeleine and Jean are living on the shores of an alpine
lake. One day, Jean catches a huge fish, and in the stomach he discovers a
