HBO's upcoming chronicle of Alfred Hitchcock's obsessive relationship with THE BIRDS star Tippi Hedren has got itself a longer trailer.
After two, briefly unsettling teasers, the latest clip offers a fuller look at the drama and eerie intensity with which Hitchcock laid on Hedren midst filming THE BIRDS. Director Julian Jarrold (RED RIDING: 1974) looks to be swimming in a suspenseful, stylish aesthetic, while unsurprisingly Toby Jones may just disappear in his portrayal of The Master.
THE GIRL premieres on HBO, Saturday, October 20 at 9 p.m.
