The Asylum's nuns have begun torturing and undressing.
Aside from the seemingly endless series of stylish teasers (I'm not complaining), AMERICAN HORROR STORY co-creator Ryan Murphy tweeted last night that Frances Conroy, who essayed the elder version of AMERICAN HORROR STORY's first season maid Moira, will be returning to the series.
Murphy wrote, "Thrilled to announce Emmy nominee Frances Conroy is returning to AHS. Devils and angels this year...Frannie plays the ultimate angel."
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM sees Jessica Lange star as Sister Jude, the matriarch of Briarcliff, and the various doctors, patients, murderers and mutants she contends with within. The series returns to FX, October 17.
