After two weeks of the eerie and abstract, get ready to meet those within this year's AMERICAN HORROR STORY. 

EW has unveiled a first look at AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM and its cast, complete with introductory character descriptions and quotes that promise plenty of crazy with a side of Aliens, Nazis, nuns and even a black-gloved killer. 

Here's a look at a few of the folks (newcomers James Cromwell and Chloe Sevigny, as well as returning cast Zachary Quinto and Sarah Paulson) making their way through Briarcliff halls. Sadly, we don't have an eyeful of Bloody Face, just yet, a killer who—described as this year's Rubber Man—"wears a mask made out of his victims skin along with black nightie and opera length gloves."

• Zachary Quinto as Dr. Thredson, "a psychiatrist whose forward-thinking ways conflict with Sister Jude's (Jessica Lange) management style."

• James Cromwell as Dr. Arden, a "not-so-good" doctor who may or may not be a Nazi. He's also behind Raspers, a "breed of mutated humans that lurk in the forest outside the Asylum."

• Sarah Paulson as Lana, a journalist committed to Briarcliff by her own girlfriend after uncovering its misdeeds.

• Chloe Sevigny as Shelley, the nymphomaniac.
