Barry Levinson’s THE BAY has engendered a lot of curiosity over its reimagining of ecological horror concerns in found-footage terms, and now Fango has the scoop on when it’s hitting theaters.

A source tells us that THE BAY, originally announced as a Lionsgate release, will come out via Roadside Attractions November 2—presumably on a limited/platform basis, though details are not yet forthcoming. This will follow Midnight screenings of THE BAY at the Toronto International Film Festival Wednesday and Thursday, September 12-13 and the New York Film Festival (date to be announced). Scripted by Michael Wallach, THE BAY uses various video sources to tell the story of a seaside town invaded and infected by parasitical organisms called isopods.
