The rebirth of Hammer is underway, and their brand new YouTube channel is a place you'll want to hang if you're a fan.

Posting a sneak peek from the set of their 70s-era ghost story THE QUIET ONES, the Hammer Films YouTube is also packed with original trailers for classic films, as well as a selection of full length features (complete with introductions), including the beloved THE QUATERMASS EXPERIMENT, THE MAN IN BLACK and CAPTAIN KRONOS VAMPIRE HUNTER.

Hammer's legacy is a rich one and if you're new (like me), this seems a great place to start. 

Directed by John Pogue, the upcoming THE QUIET ONES stars Jared Harris (MAD MEN) as "an unorthodox professor who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist. Based on the theory that paranormal activity is caused by human negative energy, the rogue scientists perform a series of tests on a young patient, pushing her to the edge of sanity. As frightening occurrences begin to take place with shocking and gruesome consequences, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying than they ever could have imagined."
