Normally FANGORIA doesn't shine too many lights on fan funded campaigns but this project, authorized by the Godfather of Ghouls himself, is one we'd like to especially see blossom.

The fine fiends behind NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE have just launched their Indie GoGo campaign via their production company website at Nictophobia Films.

Says Nictophobia partner Christopher Harrison:

"We are raising funds for our new project, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE. This is the first official stage version of this film with the endorsement of its original creators, George A. Romero, John Russo, and Russ Streiner. We are hoping that you could help spread the word of this campaign and help us reach our goal of $50,000. We have a lot of great perks that come with the donations and remember even the smallest amount helps out. We have worked really hard at assembling the best team we could find to help us make this show a hit, and now we are ready to make it a reality. The show will open in Toronto in the spring of 2013 and then off to Pittsburgh for the 45th anniversary of the film! We really do have an original re-imagining of this classic film and know that fans, new and old, are going to have a great time at our play!
