The summer’s spookiest flick arrives this Friday, August 17 when Cohen Media Group releases Nick Murphy’s ghost story THE AWAKENING. We’ve got an exclusive clip you can check out after the jump!

Rebecca Hall stars in THE AWAKENING as Florence Cathcart, a woman in post-WWI Britain who devotes her life to debunking alleged paranormal phenomena. When she’s called to a rural boarding school apparently haunted by a ghost, it proves to be something she can’t easily explain away. The cast also includes THE WIRE’s Dominic West and HARRY POTTER’s Imelda Staunton; the movie opens Friday in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Dallas, Phoenix and Atlanta.
