As announced earlier today, the highly anticipated, packed anthology THE ABCs OF DEATH will be making its world premiere as part of TIFF's Midnight Madness. Accompanying the announcement, are some tastes of the insanity to come.
With entries from 26 directors including HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN's Jason Eisener, Ti West (HOUSE OF THE DEVIL), Adrian Garcia Bogliano (PENUMBRA), Yoshihira Nishimura (TOKYO GORE POLICE), Ben Wheatley (KILL LIST), Simon Rumley (RED WHITE & BLUE), Nacho Vigalondo (TIMECRIMES) and many more, THE ABCs OF DEATH "had each contributor shoot a short film about death based on a word starting with a selected letter from the alphabet, showcasing death in all its vicious wonder and brutal beauty."
THE ABCs OF DEATH is easily one of the most exciting things on deck for the rest of 2012. What's sure to be a gonzo piece of cinema is on VOD and in limited theatrical release, October 19.
