Following up on the success of THE WOMAN IN BLACK, actor
Daniel Radcliffe is making another venture into supernatural territory, signing
on to star in the film version of Joe Hill’s novel HORNS.
Variety reports that shooting begins this fall on the Red Granite Pictures/Mandalay Pictures production, which will be directed by THE HILLS HAVE EYES and PIRANHA 3D’s Alexandre Aja from a script by IN TREATMENT’s Keith Bunin. Radcliffe will play Ignatius Perrish, the top suspect in the rape and murder of his girlfriend, who wakes up after a drunken binge to find horns starting to grow from his forehead. When he discovers he also has the ability to compel people to confess their sins, he sets out to find his lover’s killer. Hill will be an executive producer on the movie with Joe Gatta, and Riza Aziz, Joey McFarland, Cathy Schulman and Adam Stone are producing.
