Late last month, we began shooting FANGORIA: BLOOD AND GUTS, our brand new behind-the-scenes FX series, hosted by Anthrax’s Scott Ian.

This sick new web show— focusing on just how some of the most legendary special FX artists create some of the most astounding and goriest work—will be premiering on The Nerdist network later in the Fall. So, if you have ever wondered how to explode a head SCANNERS-style, this is for you.

Shooting got underway at Constantine FX Lab in Burbank. Headed by Jerry Constantine, Constantine FX has become a well-established Hollywood staple. with credits that include WATCHMEN, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS, and endless creature features.

We can’t release the details of the particular effects we are breaking down yet, but in the meantime, we thought all you FANGORIA fiends out there might enjoy a few pictures to wet you’re your palettes for things to come.
