With undead flicks continuing to flood the marketplace, a
new documentary project is seeking to corral them all into one place.
Screen Daily reports that Exhibit A Pictures and director Alexandre O. Philippe are already at work on DOC OF THE DEAD, which will examine the many strains of zombiedom that have stalked across movie screens. They’ve already interviewed SHAUN OF THE DEAD’s Simon Pegg, and are set to talk to George A. Romero shortly. Philippe and Exhibit A previously made the STAR WARS documentary THE PEOPLE VS. GEORGE LUCAS; its most recent effort is the intriguingly titled THE LIFE AND TIMES OF PAUL THE PSYCHIC OCTOPUS, about a celebrity cephalopod that correctly guessed all the results of the 2010 World Cup, which world-premieres today at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
