After rumblings were confirmed, AMC has released the first official still of the highly anticipated return of Michael Rooker as Merle Dixon (barring his dream sequence pit stop last season) to THE WALKING DEAD. One would assume—based on where season three is headed—Merle's been hanging tough with The Governor, who's seemed to set him up with a nifty contraption to help that phantom limb syndrome.
You can get caught up and see the first preview of season three over the weekend of July 7-8, when AMC airs all 19 episodes of THE WALKING DEAD.
