As his son's debut feature ANTIVIRAL gets scooped up by IFC, Entertainment One has set a U.S. release for the latest from the incomparable David Cronenberg!
Based on Dan DeLillo's 2003 futuristic novel of the same name, Cronenberg's film stars Robert Pattinson as a young billionaire on a dangerous jaunt across New York City for a haircut. Of course, much in the way of Cronenbergian surreality and satire exist within, and Fango editor Chris Alexander called the film "vintage David Cronenberg, but an even more sophisticated, refined version," and "essential and immensely rewarding."
Entertainment One has set an August 17 release for the film, in both New York and Los Angeles, with plans to expand further. For FANGORIA's full review, head right here.
