It was announced yesterday that a few more genre favorites have joined the soon-to-roll HATCHET III, and now comes word that a notable name from the wrestling world is taking part in the sequel as well.

Word trickled down to Fango that Zach Gowen (pictured left), an amputee missing his left leg who nonetheless grappled for the WWE back in 2003 (see a clip below), has joined HATCHET III’s stunt team. Gowen, whose screen credits include A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS, still wrestles for other leagues (he’s currently touring with ICP’s Juggalo Championship Wrestling) and is also a motivational speaker.

Meanwhile, writer/producer Adam Green noted via Twitter today that more casting news can be expected any day now, and he also posted the pic below of the Crowley House under construction. Directed by BJ McDonnell, HATCHET III will lens in the New Orleans area starting next week and continuing through June.
