Here at FANGORIA, we've already featured two of Canadian animator Chris Walsh’s zombie stop-motion micro-classics RISE OF THE LIVING CORPSE and FITNESS CLASS ZOMBIE. Now, we’re pleased to premiere his next romp, the first through Walsh and fellow animator Geri Bertolo’s newly minted company Mad Lab Productions. It’s called SPRINGTIME ZOMBIE. Have a look!

The mandate of Mad Lab Productions is to blend classic animation with cheeky, irreverent inversions of genre conventions.

Says Walsh: “We're developing a pretty intense stop-motion film that's a huge tribute to every horror fan's favourite holiday, Halloween, so we'll have lots of updates on that via Twitter, Facebook, and the production blog, as summer turns to fall. It's an exciting time for animation online. Production costs are dropping, and online audiences just keep growing, making it pretty exciting for small companies likes ours. We're pushing our YouTube channel a lot, cause that's where we'll be posting new content on a regular basis.”
