If you have a hankerin' for giant creatures, get stoked on the next few years.
Warner Bros., already backing Guillermo del Toro's giant mechas vs. giant aliens opus PACIFIC RIM and Gareth Edwards' (MONSTERS) redux of GODZILLA, is feeling positively prehistoric. Deadline reports the studio has picked up a pitch to-be-directed by John Clisham (who's worked under James Cameron for years), and written by Clisham and Mike Bayman, in which dinosaurs lay waste to Los Angeles.
Maybe now the plant eating Brontosaurus can get its due as a vicious, gritty creature. If so, I hope the film is entitled THUNDER LIZARD.
