Edward Furlong, soon to be seen in the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake, and THE HILLS HAVE EYES’ Michael Berryman are starring in the independent thriller BELOW ZERO, and this one, as the title suggests, is a true chiller.
Variety reports that director Justin Thomas Ostensen’s film, penned by Signe Olynyk (who’s also one of the producers), focuses on a blocked screenwriter facing a deadline for his latest work who locks himself in a slaughterhouse freezer, where he’ll have only his own demons to distract him. Thus isolated, he begins penning the story of a tow-truck driver who is accidentally locked in a similar structure with the barely living victim of a serial killer. Kristin Booth, Michael Eisner, Sadie Madu and Dee Hanna co-star in the movie, currently lending in Alberta, Canada.
