Fatal Pictures' acclaimed short, FAMILIAR is embarking on a U.S. festival run, beginning this weekend at Chicago FearFest.
In FAMILIAR, Robert Nolan plays John Dodd a middle-aged married man emotionally detached from his wife and the world. Despite having what appears to be a loving wife, a well-adjusted teenage daughter and a stable home life, John is falling apart from the inside. After hearing the news that his wife is pregnant with another child, he becomes convinced that there is a plot by her to destroy his life and contrives to destroy the unborn child—but then has to deal with his own physical monster growing inside.
FAMILIAR screens this April 13 and 14 in Chicago, and then hops to Dallas' Texas Frightmare Weekend May 4th-6th, as well as the Dark Bridges Film Festival in Saskatoon, Canada May 3rd to 6th.
