Things looked grim for David Gordon Green's remake of the Dario Argento classic, but now it's on the up and up.
Crime Scene Pictures and producers Francesco Melzi d'Eril and Luca Guadagnino are fully backing the SNOW ANGELS, ALL THE REAL GIRLS and PINEAPPLE EXPRESS director's seeming passion project and long in-development foray into genre. The film will, of course, follow the story of a young girl's acceptance to a world class European boarding school, caught up in a series of grisly murders that lead to something more.
Green has previously stated his remake will eschew with ballet angle, and skew younger in cast. For more, see our previous item on the film here. Production is set to get underway this September.
