More British bloodsucking is heading Stateside as TEMPTATION arrives on DVD this summer. The movie, which played the Gorefest London International Film Festival and the Bram Stoker International Horror Film Festival, has a U.S. street date of June 29, and Fango got the details.
Breaking Glass Pictures will release the disc under its Vicious Circle banner. Catherine Taylor directed from a script by Julianne White, telling the story of Isabel (Caroline Haines), a young woman whose night out goes awry when the cabbie who’s supposed to take her home violently assaults and murders her instead. A beautiful vampire named Aurelie (Rachel Waters) kills the attacker and brings Isabel back to “life”—and now the latter has 48 hours to choose between night-dwelling immortality or dying permanently. The DVD will present the movie in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 soundtracks, plus a featurette with cast and crew interviews and a photo gallery. Retail price is $24.99.
