He scandalized the Tribeca Film Festival with his revenge shocker TICKED-OFF TRANNIES WITH KNIVES, and no doubt filmmaker Israel Luna will cheese off more folks with his next feature, KICKING ZOMBIE ASS FOR JESUS. Read on for the particulars.

“KICKING ZOMBIE ASS FOR JESUS, where the only survivors during a zombie apocalypse are gay people and church people, is gonna be pretty awesome, and sure to cause controversy, as TICKED-OFF TRANNIES did,” Luna tells Fango. He promises that the new flick will contain “lots of blood, guts, gore, horror and comedy—with social messages of equality. Who says we can’t have a message movie with trans-women, drag queens and zombies?

“We’re looking to secure funds to hopefully begin shooting this summer,” continues Luna, whose supernatural chiller THE OUIJA EXPERIMENT (see story here) recently had a successful run in Texas. “We’re even thinking of dedicating a website to documenting the behind-the-scenes daily drama.” In the meantime, check out a promo video (which may or may not be safe for work) below, and find out more at KICKING ZOMBIE ASS’ webpage.
